Steve is co-author, with Rabbi Robin Damsky, of Find - Fulfill - Flourish – a book, tool kit, and workshop series focused on guiding people toward more meaningful and fulfilling lives. Steve gets you to think and learn in creative and insightful ways. His workshops, speeches and writings are practical and application-oriented, so people can put the ideas and concepts to work in their own lives. His approach is based on his extensive experience helping organizations and people develop pathways to success and achieve results.
Steve is in his third career and it’s all about helping others lead enriching and purpose-infused lives. For over 25 years, he’s helped businesses and nonprofit organizations and the people within them. His expertise is in leadership development, strategy formation, breakthrough interactions, trust, and human resources. Now he showing how many of these proven techniques, combined with many other concepts from leading thinkers, can be adapted to guide people in creating a life vision, charting their unique path, and leading more meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling lives.
In his own life, Steve donates about 25% of his time to helping nonprofit organizations and their leaders navigate into the future and reach greater heights. He has served on the boards of several communal organizations and as president of two.
Steve is a learning innovator and experienced facilitator. His experiential learning programs have received international recognition for innovation and effectiveness. He was the lead designer for the highly-engaging simulation supporting Stephen M.R. Covey’s bestseller, The Speed of Trust. Another training program won the Henkel Award for Global HR Excellence. Steve also received the William C. Byham Award for Innovation and Excellence in Training Technology.
Since 1996, Steve has been an independent organizational and leadership advisor. He is also a partner in HR Outfitters, a business consulting firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. Previously, Steve was Vice President, Consulting Services Group, for Development Dimensions International.
Steve’s Ph.D. is in Human Learning (with emphasis on Organizational Behavior) from the University of Nebraska. His education and professional experience enables him to look at situations from both an individual and organizational perspective, and develop solutions that meet both sets of needs. People success and organizational success are intertwined.
